The cylindrical motion brushes of the RX40C cleans deep into cracks and textures and work great to clean notoriously difficult to clean floors like: tile & grout, natural stone, concrete, brick, or other textured floors. Additionally, the counter rotating motion of the cylindrical brushes helps to lift and collect light debris in a dedicated debris tray. The sweeping function is further assisted by front sweeping brushes that help to center debris in the swath and also help to sweep and clean tough-to-reach places like against baseboards and under shelving.
Physically, the R402C is a durable and TOUGH scrubber, designed to take daily abuse. It has a thick stainless steel head, steel frame, and the plastic tanks are molded to be thick and durable. It is also very maneuverable and able to get into tight spots.
